The aldolase inhibitor aldometanib mimics glucose starvation to activate lysosomal AMPK

A small-molecule aldolase inhibitor, aldolazin is reported and shown to selectively activate the lysosomal pool of AMPK, which has glucose-lowering effects in rodents.

Phase 1b trial of anti-EGFR antibody JMT101 and Osimertinib in EGFR exon 20 insertion-positive non-small-cell lung cancer

Patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 20 insertions are resistant to early generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI). Here, the authors report the safety and preliminary efficacy of a phase I clinical trial JMT101, an anti-EGFR antibody, combined with EGFR-TKI, afatinib or osimertinib, in patients with NSCLC.
