Elastin-like polypeptides are polymers with properties that make them suitable for medical and industrial applications. Here, predicted biomimetic-de novo elastin-like polypeptide variants are demonstrated for drug-encapsulating vehicles, multifunctional wound coverings, and biobased photoresistors applications.
