Analysis of neuroimaging data of people with schizophrenia and healthy controls shows that networks derived from explicitly nonlinear whole-brain functional connectivity exhibit higher reliability than those extracted from linear whole-brain functional connectivity and demonstrate higher sensitivity to the diagnosis of schizophrenia.
