Solvent-controlled growth of inorganic perovskite films in dry environment for efficient and stable solar cells

Cesium lead iodide inorganic perovskite solar cells have great potential but the phase instability hinders their development. Here Wang et al. show a controlled drying process to make phase stable and highly efficient solar cells with power conversion efficiency of 15.7%.

Large cation ethylammonium incorporated perovskite for efficient and spectra stable blue light-emitting diodes

Blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are critical for displays. Employing a large organic cation into a quasi-two dimensional perovskite with green emission, Chu et al. achieve LEDs exhibiting a high external quantum efficiency of 12.1% and stable spectra in the sky-blue region.

Compositional engineering of phase-stable and highly efficient deep-red emitting phosphor for advanced plant lighting systems

We synthesized pure olivine phase Na_1.06MgP_0.94Si_0.06O₄:Eu deep-red phosphor using straightforward compositional engineering. This phosphor attains a remarkable EQE value of 52%, surpassing the previous record for oxide-based deep-red phosphors, while maintaining a high thermal stability of 85.4% at 150 °C.
