Evidence-Based Guideline for the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis

This article presents the first Evidence-Based Guideline dedicated specifically to the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis. The 16 statements and five overarching principles cover the diagnosis and staging, treatment, outcome and follow-up of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis.

Genome-wide association study of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis reveals genomic loci stratified by ANCA status

Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is a rare inflammatory disorder characterised by asthma, eosinophilia and vasculitis. Here, the authors describe a genome-wide association study of EGPA that reveals clinical and genetic differences between subgroups stratified by autoantibody status (ANCA).

Revised 2017 international consensus on testing of ANCAs in granulomatosis with polyangiitis and microscopic polyangiitis

In this Consensus Statement, a group of experts propose that high-quality immunoassays, rather than indirect immunofluorescence, should be used as the primary screening method for detecting anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies when diagnosing patients with suspected granulomatosis with polyangiitis or microscopic polyangiitis.
