Developing energy efficient catalysts capable of performing at moderate temperatures is an important goal. Here the authors theoretically demonstrate that a 2D multiferroic, Cr(half-fluoropyrazine)2, acts as a promising single atom catalyst for CO oxidation at room temperature.
