Low-cost and portable biosensors for vitamin D monitoring could allow early intervention to prevent illnesses associated with vitamin D deficiency. Here, an antibody-functionalized MXene-based biosensor allows for high sensitivity detection of vitamin D, with a 1 pg ml-1 limit of detection.
