Unidirectional ray polaritons in twisted asymmetric stacks

The directional propagation of phonon polaritons has been demonstrated in various twisted van der Waals materials. Here, the authors report a complementary type of directional polariton propagation by visualizing unidirectional ray polaritons in twisted asymmetric stacks of α-MoO3 and/or β-Ga2O3.

Epstein–Barr virus induces aberrant B cell migration and diapedesis via FAK-dependent chemotaxis pathways

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infects B cells, and has been linked to tumorigenesis and autoimmunity. Here the authors show, using in vitro culture and mouse models, that EBV infection alters B cell FAK signaling to induces aberrant proliferation, migration and diapedesis, thereby serving potential mechanism for EBV-induced, B cell-related pathology.

Chemogenomics for NR1 nuclear hormone receptors

In this work, the authors compile a chemogenomics library for NR1 nuclear hormone receptors to advance studies on unexplored therapeutic potential of these transcription factors. Its application in phenotypic settings revealed NR1 involvement in autophagy.
