(Hetero)aryl sulfoximines are useful bioisosteres of (hetero)aryl sulfones in medicinal chemistry as they have improved aqueous solubility and metabolic stability. Here, the authors report a synthesis of (hetero)aryl sulfoximines via copper-catalysed coupling of (hetero)aryl iodides and sulfenamides.
