S1PR1-biased activation drives the resolution of endothelial dysfunction-associated inflammatory diseases by maintaining endothelial integrity

Sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1PR1) is a drug target for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), impacting immune cell movement, but current treatments carry immunosuppression risks. Here, the authors show that a Gi-biased S1PR1 agonist, SAR247799, protects the endothelial barrier in IBD models without affecting immune cell egress, offering a potential new treatment strategy.

Ubiquitous and progressively increasing ferric iron content on the lunar surfaces revealed by the Chang’e-5 sample

Lunar high-concentration ferric ion (Fe³⁺/∑Fe > 40%) and ~63% of nanophase metallic iron (npFe⁰) are produced via charge disproportionation of ferrous iron from micrometeoroid impacts, as observed in the Chang’e-5 sample. This ongoing process would lead to a continuously increasing abundance of Fe³⁺ in the lunar regolith.
