Inhibition of tumor-intrinsic NAT10 enhances antitumor immunity by triggering type I interferon response via MYC/CDK2/DNMT1 pathway

The function and regulatory mechanism of mRNA acetylation modification in cancer progression remains largely unknown. Here the authors identify that targeting tumor N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) RNA acetyltransferase NAT10 improves anti-tumor response via MYC/CDK2/DNMT1/dsRNA/type I IFN pathway, and show the synergic anti-tumor effect of NAT10 inhibition with aPD-1.

Enhanced carbon dioxide conversion at ambient conditions via a pore enrichment effect

Currently the cost of CO₂ chemical fixation remains high because of harsh reaction conditions. Here, the authors report a covalent organic framework screened from 10994 candidates as the efficient CO₂ fixation catalyst under ambient conditions based on the finding of a “pore enrichment effect”.

Plasmacytoid dendritic cells sense self-DNA coupled with antimicrobial peptide

Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) produce type 1 interferon in response to viral infection and activation of endosomal Toll-like receptors. This paper shows that in psoriatic skin pDC TLR-9 is activated by an antimicrobial peptide in complex with endogenous human DNA that is released from dying cells.
