Annual per-person emergency room visits (A) and all-cause hospitalizations (B) in year prior to, 1st, and 2nd years of positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy after applying inverse probability treatment weighting. All comparisons between adherence groups for ER visits and all-cause hospitalizations were significant at P < 0.001 except for the comparison of intermediate adherence vs non-adherence groups on all-cause hospitalizations, which was significant at P < 0.05.
