AC-HAADF-STEM images and the line profiles of a Pt/CeO2-550 and b Pt/CeO2-800 (additional line profiles of Pt/CeO2-800 can be found in Supplementary Fig. 4). In situ XRD patterns for c Pt/CeO2-550 and d Pt/CeO2-800; e the refined lattice parameters of Pt/CeO2 (without calcination), standard CeO2, Pt/CeO2-550 and Pt/CeO2-800 obtained by Rietveld refinements.
