Network-forming phase separation at state point B (ϕ ≅ 10%, εβ ≅ 6). We compare the time development of three-dimensional (3D) structures obtained from Brownian dynamics (BD) and fluid particle dynamics (FPD) simulations and confocal microscopy observation in EXP2 at tw/τB ≃ 0, 30, 60 and 120 (see also Supplementary Movie 2). A clear network structure is already formed at tw/τB = 30 for BD, but not for EXP2 and FPD. Particles are colored to distinguish front particles from back ones
