a [SHexCer (t41:2)-H], b [SHexCer (t42:2)-H], c [SHexCer (t42:3)-H], d [SHexCer (t43:2)-H], e [SHexCer (d40:1)-H], f [SHexCer (d40:2)-H], g [SHexCer (d42:1)-H], h [SHexCer (d41:1)-H]. Ion distribution images are scaled to the maximum intensity of each individual ion. Lateral resolution of the MALDI-MSI images is 150 µm and all of the ion images were RMS-normalized.
