a [SHexCer (t41:2)-H]−, b [SHexCer (t42:2)-H]−, c [SHexCer (t42:3)-H]−, d [SHexCer (t43:2)-H]−, e [SHexCer (d40:1)-H]−, f [SHexCer (d40:2)-H]−, g [SHexCer (d42:1)-H]−, h [SHexCer (d41:1)-H]−. Ion distribution images are scaled to the maximum intensity of each individual ion. Lateral resolution of the MALDI-MSI images is 150 µm and all of the ion images were RMS-normalized.
