Extended Data Table 1 Statistic quantities of the tumour samples

From: Rigid tumours contain soft cancer cells

  1. Statistic quantities (median, 1st- and 3rd-quartile, interquartile (Q3-Q1)) and parameters µ and \sigma of the Log-Normal fits, characterizing the distributions of relative deformation at the end of the stretching phase of the measured samples, exact staging of all measured breast tumour samples (invasive ductal carcinoma) and amount of measured cells. Breast tumour staging was done according to UICC TNM-classification (where grade 3, N + /N- means with/without nodal metastasis). Additionally, estrogen, progesterone (immune-reactive score IRS) and HER2neu receptor status are given. Cervical cancer was staged according to the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) staging system. Neighbouring normal cervical epithelia tissue was used as control.
