The analyses were performed with the Kaplan–Meier estimates and two-sided log-rank tests. Tumours were considered high for expression of PDCD1, CD274 and FOXP3 if their expression was above median, and high for B lineage and cytotoxic lymphocytes if the MCP-counter score was above the third quartile.
