Adiponectin deficiency enhances insulin sensitivity in males and females, but has no beneficial metabolic effects in ovariectomized females. After 16 weeks of HFD, mice (n = 19–46) were assessed metabolically by examining a (A) GTT, (B) insulin response to the GTT, and (C) ITT. Data is presented as mean ± SE.
