Defined tumor fates in the model. In all subfigures, treatment initiated on day 19. Each cycle (see Materials and Methods) was repeated five times, followed by 150 days without treatment to confirm outcome stability. (a) Tumor Escape (treatment cycle: 40 days MTX-RGX followed by 20 days RGX). No treatment also results in escape with different cell dynamics (not shown). Note that tumor escape occurs around day ~ 120 when the tumor cell population exceeds 10⁹. The subsequent part of the simulation was only followed to confirm the stability of the escape state and does not carry additional biological meaning.
