We read the Technique article in the March 2010 issue of Lab Animal titled “Peri- and intra-operative management of the goat during acute surgical experimentation”1 by Flaherty et al. This article presented information on handling techniques, personal protective equipment (PPE) and anesthesia used when working with goats in a research setting.
