Shown are 11 different concentrations of recombinant EGFP or mCherry used to measure fluorescence intensity. We plot the fluorescence intensity versus protein concentration and fit the data to a linear function to obtain the calibration curve. This calibration curve converts the fluorescence intensity observed to the concentration of EGFP or mCherry-labelled proteins in cell lysates. (a) Exemplary calibration curve of recombinant EGFP.
