At the 6-week mark post-induction of Smc3 knockout through tamoxifen treatment, RNA sequencing was performed from prefrontal cortex (PFC), uncovering differently gene expression profiles. A Volcano plot shows distribution of differently expressed genes of Smc3 cKO male mice compared to WT—87 upregulated genes and 222 downregulated genes. Threshold for differentially expressed genes is FDR < 0.05.
