On 1 February 2025, new guidance on reporting matters to the General Dental Council was published.1 The guidance sets out matters that must be referred to the GDC by registrants, including where there are concerns about the registrant's own Fitness to Practise (FtP), the FtP of others, or in cases involving regulatory investigations or criminal proceedings anywhere in the world.
