Lesion area measurement was quantified and compared between baseline and the visits that first showed exudation (for the two eyes that developed exudation within one year) or the first visit after 1-year follow-up visits (for the 19 eyes without development of exudation within one year). During follow-up visits, the probability of exudation was significantly higher in eyes with growing MNV than eyes with stable MNV (P < 0.0001, Log-rank test).
