Pink, while, grey, yellow, and blue spheres represent oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, sulfur, nitrogen atoms, respectively. The XPS spectra of representative chemical bonds of (A2)−OH, (B2)–COOH, (C2)−NH2, (D2)−CH3, (E2)−SO3, and (F2) hybrid of NH2 and COOH groups terminated self-assembled monolayers.
