  1. Reaction conditions: 1a (0.3 mmol, 1 equiv.), D2O (4.0 equiv.), [Pd/L] (5 mol%), additive (2.0 equiv.), THF (0.2 M), N2 atmosphere, T °C, 12 h. Yield and deuterated ratio of 2a was determined by 19F NMR with 2-fluorotoluene as an internal standard. DABCO, 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane.
