The binding experiments were performed at 25 °C in a buffer containing 50 mM MOPS (pH 7.5), 100 mM NaCl, 2 mM MgCl2, and 1% DMSO with an aptamer concentration of 7 μM and a ligand concentration of 100 μM. The equilibrium dissociation constants (KD) were calculated using the one-site binding (1:1) model provided by MicroCal PEAQ-ITC Analysis Software (n = 2 replicates).
