From: Shifting the mindset culture to address global educational disparities

General template for a program of research intended to yield an approach to help teachers create and sustain growth mindset classroom cultures (a). The approach involves sequentially addressing three research questions (RQs): identifying practices that can/may effectively foster a growth mindset classroom culture (RQ1), finding a way to motivate teachers to adopt these practices (RQ2), and helping teachers to sustain their use of these practices and continue to refine them over time (RQ3). We have piloted this program via the Texas Mindset Initiative (b), which developed and evaluated a teacher-focused intervention in Texas public schools.
