This figure depicts the predicted term GPA by growth mindset and term. The regression model used is \({Term\; GP}{A}_{{it}}={Te}{{rm}}_{{it}}+{Te}{{rm}}_{{it}}^{2}+{{Mindset}}_{i}+{{Mindset}}_{i}\times {Te}{{rm}}_{{it}}+{{Mindset}}_{i}\times {Te}{{rm}}_{{it}}^{2}+{{Gender}}_{i}+{\eta }_{i}+{e}_{{it}}\). Red line stands for the predicted term GPA with growth mindset (\({{Mindset}}_{i}=+1{S}.D.\)), and blue line stands for the predicted term GPA with fixed mindset (\({{Mindset}}_{i}=-1{S}.D.\)). The figure also shows 95% confidence intervals for each line.
