From: Use of equine H3N8 hemagglutinin as a broadly protective influenza vaccine immunogen

  1. We compared neutralization results (>40 HAI) against the literature for head domain binding (green), esterase domain binding (red), or stem domain binding (blue) antibodies. H3N8 vaccination induced a polyclonal response but led to higher cross-reactivity than that exhibited by bnAbs. Reactivity to type B strains was not detected in equine vaccinees. NF = no evidence of neutralization found in the literature. Antibodies compared to our H3N8 serum have been published prior45,54,55,56,57,58,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66.
