In the version of the article initially published, in Fig. 2, the “Progressive myoclonic epilepsies” diamond was placed incorrectly, with the peak appearing around 1 year rather than 8–9 years and has now been amended. Additionally, in Fig. 3e a box reading “Transcription elongation: EEF1A2” has now been removed. These corrections have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
