Disulfidptosis is an emerging form of redox-driven cell death with implications in cancer and immunity. This Comment explores gaps in our mechanistic understanding, unanswered questions, and the therapeutic potential of targeting disulfidptosis, highlighting key challenges and future directions in decoding this unique cell death pathway.
