  1. Calculated values of the interaction strength for the experimental configurations used in the main text; the full angle dependence can be found in Fig. 5b. The calculated values indicate that W and hz are typically negligible compared with other energy scales. Although the chemical potential μ can be important, its uniformity in the bulk of a regular lattice means that its primary physical influence is expected at the system boundaries.
