Dendritic cells

2B or not 2B is the question in DC ontogeny

Dendritic cell (DC) heterogeneity underpins effective immune responses, but subset definition is complex. Zhu et al. delineate the development of type 2 conventional DCs and plasmacytoid DCs in mice, defining distinct ontogenies and transcription factor dependencies that provide a framework for unifying DC subset classification.
