Patients aged ≥75 years, with a CHA2DS2VASc score ≥4, NYHA functional class ≥II, left atrial diameter ≥45 mm, no diabetes mellitus and LVA size ≥20 cm2 had lower AF or AT recurrence rates in the PVI + LVA-ABL group than in the PVI-alone group.
