  1. The mean beta and gamma burst rates for each experiment stage and recording site are shown for both the solitary and group conditions. Burst rates across these conditions were statistically evaluated using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, followed by the Bonferroni correction (n = 4 stages) accounting for multiple comparisons. For each comparison, 45 trials that had both solitary and group data were used to assess statistical significance. Stages displaying statistically significant differences in burst rates between the solitary and group conditions are highlighted by bolded p-values, which were tested against a Bonferroni-adjusted threshold for significance.
