Mouse immunization schedule. Six groups of BALB/c mice were immunized intravenously on day 0 and 28, using a polyethylenimine (PEI)-based transfection reagent. Four weeks after the second immunization, splenocytes were isolated for IFN-γ ELISPOT and blood samples were collected to analyze the humoral responses against HCV and HBV.
