For each plot, the box indicates the interquartile range, the whiskers show the extreme values (1.5 times the interquartile range), the asterisks designate potential outliers (values greater or less than three times the interquartile range), the solid line depicts the median, and the “x” indicates the mean. Different letters above each box plot indicate significant differences in the medians based on a Kruskal–Wallis analysis followed by Dunn’s post hoc test (p < 0.05).
