(A–F) Fgf2, Acta2, Fn1, Tgfb1, Mmp2, Mmp9 genes were normalized to average Gapdh expression. Data is presented as mean ± SEM, *p ≤ 0.05, **p < 0.01 as compared to unwounded healthy skin group, #p ≤ 0.05 as compared to a vehicle group; (g) α-SMA positive cells and tissue fibers in a wound area and in an un-wounded healthy skin.
