Gland dilatation and shortening were observed from day 30 and marked dilatation and complete gland dropouts were observed by day 90 in both groups. (b) Meiboscore, partial gland loss score and gland dropout score (left to right) of the meibomian glands show a significant increase in scores from D30 in both groups indicating morphological changes in the meibomian gland.
