Table 3 Mouse bioassay results for CWD-positive white-tailed deer maternal reproductive tissues. Cervidized (TgCerPrP−E2265037+/−) mice were intracranially (IC) inoculated with uterus (dams 6 − 1 and dam 7–10) and placentome (dams 6 − 1 fetus A and B, and dam 7–10 fetus A and B) samples. Terminal mouse brains were tested by conventional RT-QuIC for amyloid seeding activity. Mock inoculated mice remained free of clinical signs throughout, and tested CWD-negative upon terminal collections in all cohorts. DPI = days post inoculation. # pos/total mice = number CWD-positive/total number inoculated.
