Age-specific incidence rates of burns by period in China, 1990–2019. The survey years were organized into 5 consecutive years, from 1990 to 1994 (median, 1992 1995 to 1999 (median, 1997), 2000 to 2004 (median, 2002), 2005 to 2009 (median, 2007), and 2010 to 2014 (median, 2012 ), and 2015 through 2019 (median, 2017). Longitudinal yearly curves were estimated from age-period-cohort models and represent expected age-specific rates of burn incidence. Age-specific curves for males are shown in zone (A) of each graph, whereas age-specific curves for females are shown in zone (B).
