Correlations of centered log-ratio (clr)-transformed relative abundances of uniquely shared bacterial taxa between the root canal and gingival sulcus lesions. Bacterial taxa uniquely shared between lesion sites were identified at the genus (A) and species level (B), and the correlations of their clr-transformed relative abundance at the two sites were assessed using Spearman’s correlation analysis. Only taxa with statistically significant correlations (rho > 5, q < 0.05) are presented.
