Structural alteration of the insula in patients with MWoA compared with HC. Gaussian random field method was used for significance correction with voxel P < 0.005, cluster P < 0.05, cluster size > 50 voxels. The deeper red color represents the greater decreased GMV and the lighter red color represents less decreased GMV in the MWoA compared with HC. In the box plot, the red color represents the MWoA group, and the green color represents the HC group.
