These are 8 distribution maps of counties dominated by these 8 factors. Since ‘SOLA’ only dominates one county and cannot calculate averages, it is excluded from the figure. We compute the average values of the corresponding factors for vulnerable counties under each decisive factor and the average value of ‘Diff’. Using these two averages as intermediate values, we divided the counties into four groups (as shown in the legend in the middle), representing them on the map with points of corresponding colors. The size of each point indicates the number of heat-related deaths, with larger points representing higher death counts.
