Cx3cr1gfp/+ mice were intravenously administered with anti-CD49d-BV421 (platelets; cyan) to complement microglia-gfp (green) and were either a naive control or subjected to photothrombotic (PT) stroke for b 3 or c 24 h. The skulls of anesthetized mice were thinned over the parietal plane, and brains were imaged using a two-photon microscope. 100 µm of brain was imaged with 1 µm Z-stack steps. Images shown display (left) 10 µm of Z-compressed images and (right) 100 µm of 3-D rendered images using IMARIS v10. Images are representative of 3 mice/condition.
