HP 13C MRI of 10 mM ethyl [1-13C]pyruvate-d6 (color) superimposed on an X-ray micro-tomography (µCT, gray) of the reactor. For the 13C MRI, the signal was plotted on a red-to-yellow color scheme (Matlab: “autumn”) and red was set transparent. Note that the two images were acquired at different times in different imaging devices and that the reactor and water-heating chamber were drained for µCT.
