For a, n = 3 except for folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, biotin and niacin (n = 2); for b, n = 5 (palmitate incubation) or n = 3 (coenzyme A incubation). Statistical significance was calculated using one-way ANOVA with Bonferroni’s multiple comparisons test. n represent biological independent experiments.
