Some 1 μg of rabbit aldolase was incubated with 50 μM aldometanib for 2 h, followed by SDS-PAGE and analysis of covalent modifications through mass spectrometry. b, In silico docking results showing that the groove near the K230 residue is required for aldometanib binding. c, Enzymatic activities of ALDOA (100 nM, bacterially expressed and purified) carrying mutations on residues that may be responsible for aldometanib binding.
