From: Cyclone Ilsa in April 2023 led to significant seabird mortality on Bedout Island
Transects completed in June (n = 5; orange) and July 2023 (n = 10; purple). Vegetation is visible on the island’s surface as the base map image is from May 2021. Adele Island and the Lacepede Islands have breeding Masked Boobies, but this species is not found on the Rowley Shoals or Scott Reef which are primarily home to terns and tropicbirds.
